| Jordi Cruyff, son of
the legendary Johan, has signed for United after his
father was dismissed as coach of Barcelona. Jordi who possesses great balance and close control, can play as either an attacking midfielder, or as a striker. He played in all four of Holland's games in the European Championships, scoring against Switzerland. Jordi had a good start to his United career scoring twice in his first three Premiership games. But knee trouble hindered him all season, and the United fans never saw the best of Cruyff. He was the target of the boo-boys last saeason, but Jordi now has a Championship medal and if he sticks around, could go on to suprise a few Old Trafford regulars. |
